About Vanzy

Vanzy is a marketplace platform that helps users discover and list campervans and related vehicles in New Zealand. Vanzy is not a dealer, broker, or inspection service, and we are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Vanzy. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login details secure. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or create risk for other users.

Listings & Seller Responsibilities

When you create a listing, you agree that:

• Your listing information is accurate, not misleading, and not incomplete in a way that could mislead others.
• You have the right to sell the vehicle (or are authorised to do so).
• You will disclose material issues you know about (e.g., faults, finance owing, odometer concerns, compliance status where relevant).
• You will clearly indicate if you are selling in trade (as a business/dealer).
• Photos you upload may be used by Vanzy to promote the platform on social media. You can opt out at any time by contacting us.

We may remove or restrict listings that appear misleading, unsafe, or in breach of these Terms.

Buyer Responsibilities

You are responsible for conducting your own checks before purchasing, including (where relevant) mechanical inspections, ownership/finance checks, and verifying documents. Any guidance or checklists provided by Vanzy are general information only.

No Guarantees

Vanzy does not guarantee:

• The condition, legality, or safety of any vehicle.
• That a seller will respond.
• That a listing is still available.
• That a transaction will complete successfully.

Fees (if applicable)

If Vanzy charges fees (e.g., for featured listings), the price and what it includes will be shown before you purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Post false or deceptive listings.
• Harass users or request sensitive info inappropriately.
• Attempt to bypass platform rules for fraud or spam.
• Upload content that infringes privacy or intellectual property.

Safety & Payments

Vanzy does not provide escrow or payment protection (unless explicitly stated). Do not share sensitive financial information. Use safe payment practices and meet in public places where possible.

Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload (including photos). By uploading content, you grant Vanzy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, distribute, reproduce, and share that content for the purposes of operating and promoting the platform — including featuring listings and photos on Vanzy's social media channels (such as Instagram and Facebook). We will not sell your photos to third parties.

Suspension & Removal

We may suspend accounts or remove listings to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us at HelloVanzy@gmail.com. We will remove your account and associated listings within a reasonable timeframe.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vanzy is not liable for losses arising from transactions or interactions between users. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.

Future Features

Vanzy may introduce new features in the future (for example, in-app messaging or optional paid features). If we do, we will update these Terms and clearly present any fees or additional rules before you use those features.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the latest version on the website.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
